  • 12 oz steak (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz shell pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the shell pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  2. Pat the steak bites dry and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear the steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and keep warm.
  4. Lower the heat and add butter and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer; gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
  7. Serve topped with steak bites and garnish with parsley.
