Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz steak (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz shell pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the shell pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the steak bites until browned on all sides. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt butter. Add minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; season with salt and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Toss drained pasta with the sauce and reserved pasta water as needed for consistency. Fold in the seared steak bites.
  5. Serve garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
