Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Prepare an ice bath with cold water in a large bowl nearby.
  2. Add the frozen green beans to the boiling water and blanch for 1 minute. Drain and transfer to the ice bath for 3-4 minutes to cool.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the toasted sesame oil. Once hot, add the blanched green beans and pressed garlic. Season with kosher salt and pepper.
  4. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the green beans are tender but still crisp. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
