  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 large lemon (zest and juice)
  • 3 tablespoons + 1 1/2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark pans).
  2. Spray a 9"x5" loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Separate each biscuit into two layers, creating a total of 16 pieces.
  4. In a bowl, mix granulated sugar with lemon zest and poppy seeds.
  5. Brush each biscuit layer with melted butter and coat with the sugar mixture.
  6. Arrange the biscuits in the prepared loaf pan, placing any remaining sugar mixture between layers.
  7. Bake for 30–45 minutes until golden brown; cover with foil if browning too quickly.
