  • 1/2 cup extra-strong lavender Earl Grey tea (cooled)
  • For frosting: 16 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cups confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 tsp whole milk
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup extra-strong lavender Earl Grey tea (cooled)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line two cupcake pans with baking cups.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a stand mixer, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add milk and vanilla extract to the mixture, alternating with the dry ingredients.
  6. Mix in cooled lavender Earl Grey tea until combined.
  7. Fill cupcake liners and bake for about 18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. For frosting, beat butter until creamy; gradually add confectioner’s sugar until smooth.
  9. Add remaining ingredients to frosting; mix until fluffy.
