  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 cups cooked rice (Jasmine or short-grain)
  • 1 English cucumber
  • Mayonnaise
  • Baby spinach or mixed greens
  • Shredded carrots

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, gochujang, rice vinegar, minced garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
  2. Marinate the thinly sliced flank steak in the mixture for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours).
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated steak for about 2-3 minutes per side until medium-rare (130-135°F).
  4. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.

  6. Mix mayonnaise with gochujang and sesame oil to create spicy mayo.
