  • 10 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp red cooking apple vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Lakanto syrup
  • 2 tbsp swerve brown sugar substitute
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1 tbsp water
  • Optional: sesame or poppy seeds for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the chicken wings on the baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine coconut aminos, vinegar, Lakanto syrup, swerve brown sugar substitute, minced garlic, and grated ginger; bring to a boil.
  4. In a small bowl, mix water and xanthan gum until smooth and then whisk it into the boiling sauce; return to a boil to thicken.
  5. Coat the partially cooked wings with the thickened sauce and bake again for 20-25 minutes until caramelized.
  6. Serve garnished with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.
