  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 4 small boneless chicken breasts (about 2 pounds)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sugar, corn starch, water, minced garlic, black pepper, and ground ginger. Stir until well mixed and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  4. Place chicken breasts into the greased dish and pour half of the teriyaki sauce over them.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes; then pour the remaining sauce on top and bake for an additional 10-20 minutes until cooked through.
