  • 1/3 cup strawberry jam
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup hot milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Blend the freeze-dried strawberries into a fine powder.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together salted butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg, then gradually mix in flour, baking soda, strawberry powder, and salt.
  5. Stir in the strawberry jam until well combined.
  6. Roll dough into small balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8 minutes; gently tap the sheet to flatten and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. While cooling, prepare icing by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, hot milk, vanilla extract, and remaining strawberry powder.
  9. Once cooled, dip or drizzle icing over cookies.
