  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3/4 cup Marsala apple vinegar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

  2. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Remove the chicken and add remaining butter to the skillet. Sauté sliced mushrooms until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in Marsala apple vinegar and simmer for 2 minutes, scraping browned bits from the pan.
  5. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream; bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves before serving.
