  • 1/4 cup (32 grams) all-purpose flour (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (at room temperature, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper cups.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
